About The Sanctuary at Haafsville:

We are a Community Resource for you!
The "Sanctuary" is our concept for providing a nurturing environment for animals in need.  
Our facility is home to most of our cats and dogs, although some reside in foster homes initially. This helps us to learn about their behavioral traits and make "right match" placements.
 
Our animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and parasites and tested for heartworm.  This means that any animal adopted from The Sanctuary at Haafsville is ready to start a new life in your home.  
 
We are a volunteer based organization and are very conservative financially which allows us to provide exceptional care to our resident animals.  We are funded by our ongoing fundraising efforts, donations and our partnerships.  And for all the support we receive, we do like to give back and do so through our sponsorship of a Humane Police Officer which is one of our gifts to the community.  Visit our Thank You page to see some of great organizations that have helped us in our first 5 years.
